Graham Cowan QHSE Consultancy Partners with LIVES to Deliver First Aid Training in North East Lincolnshire

Graham Cowan QHSE Consultancy is now working in partnership with LIVES to support the delivery of First Aid training from its dedicated training centre in Laceby, North East Lincolnshire.

LIVES (Lincolnshire Integrated Voluntary Emergency Service) is a charity delivering critical, life-saving support across the county, with trained volunteers and responders attending medical emergencies in the community, often arriving before ambulance services. Their work bridges the gap in those crucial moments where early intervention can make all the difference - literally saving lives every day.

Alongside their frontline response, LIVES Expert Training delivers First Aid training (alongside lots of other training which can be found on their training site) designed to equip individuals and organisations with the skills and confidence to act in real-life scenarios.

As part of this partnership, that training is now being delivered from Graham Cowan QHSE Consultancy’s facilities at Laceby Business Park, on the outskirts of Grimsby. The centre provides a practical, accessible environment for delegates, with free on-site parking, refreshments available throughout the day, and local amenities just minutes away.

For Graham Cowan QHSE Consultancy, this reflects a shared focus on training that works in the real world. With services spanning health and safety, fire safety, ISO support, and training and courses, our business has built its reputation on practical, people-led solutions that go way beyond box-ticking compliance.

With over 30 years’ experience across multiple sectors, the consultancy takes a straightforward approach: training and compliance should prepare people for real situations, not just satisfy requirements on paper. That same thinking underpins the environment now being used by LIVES.

The partnership also strengthens the role of the Laceby training centre as a hub for hands-on, high-quality learning in the region, supporting both commercial organisations and initiatives that have a direct impact within the community.

Working alongside an organisation like LIVES reinforces what that looks like in practice; where training isn’t theoretical, and the outcome truly matters.

Protection through Prevention.
